With that Sony sensor you can easily stretch the rock shadows even further. Sony sensors are incredibly good. Yeah, the sensor really makes you change the way you shoot...at least it did for me. This one is one shot from last week...the boats on the right were a little dark, but easy to recover and put the light back on them when exposing for the really intense section of the sunset on the far left.
