Indigo Lake - Cuyahoga Valley

This may not be the most spectacular sunset, but it's very special to me. I'm not much for talking about my problems, let alone with strangers online; however the last few years have been pretty rough for me. On a spur of the moment I decided to head out. This was the day before I turned 40. Despite have dull overcast skies for several days, the clouds managed to break for a few minutes. I was able to get a few pics and decided this was a great way to end my 30's.

I added some magenta color, and blended in a little of the grass and tree detail with a layer.

JollyRoger that's a touching storey and a beautiful photo.
Thanks for sharing such.
A beautiful sunset is indeed a fantastic way to farewell a day or the past 40 years.
Tomorrow the sun rises again, and it's a fresh new day. Day of new opportunities.
I trust that ushers in a new era with many bright vistas like this beauty.
All the best.
Regards
Richard

You’re watermark, however, isn’t big enough.

The funniest thing is Fannie Bay is directly opposite Cox Peninsula, and you get to Fannie Bay via Dick Ward Drive.

Photographers are violent people, first they frame you, then they shoot you and after that they hang you on the wall.

Ray you should read Pippan's post out loud, slowly, then you might get it.
It has anatomical connotations :-P
But English ain't English and Aussie lingo may not translate to the Northern hemisphere :p

Thanks Richard. Wife explained it to me and cautioned me about mixing with you Aussies:-). Anyway I learnt my Aussie lingo from Kevin B Wilson. Laugh my head off at ‘Kids First Day at School’. :p :p
