Lots of sunsets enhanced by the fires in the American West. This one in Colorado, Rocky Mountain National Park in early August, right at the start of worst ones.

Hard to compete with these great pics here with a old Canon SX50 but here goes,Smoke from the West Coast has made it to Iowa with a orange haze .

I'm really not sure, I just angle and move around until it pops like that, normally during the sunrise or sunset.
