I saw the blue version and was like HOLY COW that's amazing. Then I read the post and saw the bottom shot. Both are great, but the blue version is immediate striking!! NICE WORK!!! Agree with your wife's comment, but photography has never been 'honest' in that sense and subject to adulteration, creativity or whatever other term one chooses to use. Eyes of the beholder is the 'norm'. But what is honest in photography? The camera only sees, but the human mind sees and interprets. And we don't necessarily interpret in the same way what we see in a photo and what we would see looking at the subject. So what should the photographer do? Show what the lens sees, or what the mind sees? Both can be valid. If in doubt, why not we stop to think why we are taking that picture, and then decide accordingly. Or do it both ways, like in this case. I don't know anything. But I know other things.
