Thank you!!!

I am not that great using Photoshop (actually Photoshop Elements)

If you take one shot with the stand/ball in frame, and one without, it is super easy to remove the stand with a layer mask. Flipping the image in the ball is a little trickier as you have to accurately select just the ball. I still need a lot of practice making good selections with clean edges.

Aaahhh 2 background shots would make it easier for sure!!

I also need more practice making selections. That is difficult for me for sure.

Thank you!!

I love your processing. Would love to know your general workflow if possible.

Thank you, workflow is generally LR + PS, some times add to that Nik, Skylum AI or Topaz Studio 2, depending what I want to do to image, always sharpen the image size you will be posting to web not the original image size. If you dont have Skylum AI and may like to get it, I can supply you with an affiliate link to save you a few $$$$ Just PM me if you do.

Hope that has been helpful.

Actually I attempted to do something similar....but because of my photoshop skills is very limited I had to resort by doing it my way. I tried to just select the ball on a separate photo and paste it on this photo (without the ball). I was able to do it on previous version(s) of photoshop...or so I thought. Or just maybe I missed some steps somewhere which prevented me in pasting the ball.

~Before and After~

I shot the original photo with a 10 stop filter and much later I ran into a tutorial on-line using the sphere filter (I think) in photoshop. Some blurring effect was added on the outside of the sphere. I hope you like it.

LOL...thank you so very much!! I wish I would have taken notes and saved it. Now I don't think I can duplicate this. This is the only time I attempted it.

That is indeed a great effect!

Did I read that right & you did this with a sphere filter as opposed to an actual physical ball?
Nice work paloika :-)

Yes...no ball...everything was done in photoshop. If I find that tutorial, I'll post it here.

Here is a tutorial. I'm not sure if you can do this on Photoshop Element though.
