Shot from by back garden - a rather strange cotton wool effect of the cloud, apparently caused by the interference of a very thin veil of mist created by an inversion layer.

agree with the inspeqtor!

despite the uniqueness of the 'cotton candy' effect I might be prone to cropping the top 50% or so and leaving just the bottom with a hint of cotton candy at the top. :)

successive sunsets - tonight and last night
Tonight was one of those gorgeous cloudless evenings when the colours are just a continuous blend up to the heavens
The 'lights' in second photo are reflections off the wrapped round bales of silage
