Very nice! So, was this done with the 430 on HSS and BetterBeamer attached?

Thanks too ... yes it was. I usually shoot in that mode with the Flash EC set around -1 2/3 ~ 2 stops and zoomed a 50mm.

Good info; thanks! I just discovered how much help flash can give for birds this last weeked, so I'll be trying more of that :)
