Good day everyone!

I am probably posting this in the wrong place but couldn't think of a better location. My apologies in advance moderators.

Heres the deal, I'm currently stationed in South Korea in a (4) Marine detachment and we've just got a new OIC (him being the 4th) and he wants a new challenge coin; basically a two sided coin with the units logo and higher commands logo on the flipside. (just got word the OIC doesnt care if our higher command is on the coin or not.

Brief explianation on challenge coins, basically while at a drinking establishment, if someone issues a challenge, every military member must pull out a coin, whoever doesnt have one, buys the rounds, if eveyrone has one, the most junior coin buys. junior is say a Company level coin, while a senior coin may be one given to the individual by a General. The best one I have is one from the SgtMaj of III MEF.

Alright, so question is why am I posting this here? NO ONE in this shop has any artisic skills whatsoever. So I'm hoping someone with photoshop/artisic skill may be able to help. PLEASE!! My CO has been harping ont his forever, he wants a COIN!

So here are our ideas to build off of, or if you want to create something completly unique please feel free to. Our units name is "III MEF LOGISTICS DETACHMENT" Our higher is "III Marine Expeditionary Force"

Suppy or Die!

The coin will have a bulldog dress in Marine Dress blues crossed armed with a boat, plane, and 7ton sorrounding him.

Reason: Our detachment here provides logistical support for ALL Marine Corps exercises in Korea. We provide food, water, vehicles, cell phones, trucks, ammunition, everything. If we fail our mission, Marines don't train, Generals get mad, people die.

And as for our "not for family or weak hearted" coin:

Want in one Hand
**** in the Other

The coin will have a Marine/bulldog holding out two hands.

Reason: Units that come here to train want want WANT. There is only so much support we can provide, but they think this place is Wal-Mart. They submit their request, but offer no money in return. Without money, we can't pay the vendors that we sign contracts to. Bad buisness to want stuff without first paying.

Alright so I figure this has been a long enough post. Winner will receive a free coin once its made!!!

Thank you everyone. God bless!

Ah deadline is 29 Mar.

Hey Thanks! It looks good! Would it be possible to have minor changes made? I think my OIC will want to change the colors to fit Marine Corps standards more and add some words and such. But overall it looks awesome.
