Wonderful images! Thanks for sharing!

Can't wait to get there - we'll be on Maui for 3 weeks in May - needless to say, the camera's going to get a workout!

You will love it!!! I am counting the days to go back!!

Thanks both of you!!

Glad y'all liked them!!

I too like the sugarcane too, not because of the ps work which I had to do because the bg was so foggy looking, but because the sad fact that things like sugarcane and pineapples which the refer to as maui gold ( which is so good), are going to the wayside due to the fact that they are still doing things by hand for the most part and are loosing this natural way to the machine....theirs tastes sooo much better!!!

Anyway, I learned so much about the history of Hawaii, I am very glad we are in the position where we could go!

For those going in the future, I highly recommend the "Hike Maui" guys!! We did the 11hr hike and the 4hr hike, both were great and they really knew their stuff! Don't let the 11hr hike scare you as a lot of it is driving the "road to Hana" which is just as great as the hike!! Trust me, you will be glad you did it!

Thanks again everyone!
The wife and are always saying, "it's (whatever time) in Maui right now"....we are so ready to go back!!

I think our next trip will be to the Grand Cayon though as I have always wanted to go there. It will be our trip for next year I think.

Maui will test your "grab the camera quick" skills.

You passed. We spent 2 weeks there over Christmas, we will return.

Nice shots. I especially like #7, the moonlight shot - very atmospheric. I took an identical one to #4 of the lighthouse!

Hope this isn't a thread jack but wanted to share these from our trip. We were there during the Tsunami (weird experience) and got a few quick shots from the Marriott in Wailea. This reef is normally under water! The tsunami actually hit just after 3:00 am and it was too dark for any pictures, this is a few hours later - the surges lasted all day!
