Hi guys ,


what do you think of my shot? I was originally trying to get a sunset but I missed the timing by a bit:) however I managed to get this cool shot out of luck , the birds just flew right into my picture:)


was using 55-250 mm lense
Rebel Xt

I was at 110mm 250/second iso 100 F6 Is on. mirror lockup off.


what you guys think ?

ok thanks , I know how to make an adjustment layer but for the rest of his instructions I get lost...I use a paintbrush to paint over the green part?

Is there any chance you can tell the steps you did to clone out the group of birds out.

Also, what are peoples feelings on it. Is this really acceptable? At what point do you go from "cleaning" to "highly manipulated"?

If you crop an image, you alter it. If you adjust contrast, you alter it. If you convert to B&W, you alter it. If you sharpen, you alter. If you correct a color cast, you alter.
