Would you make this swap?

Would you do a straight swap: my 85 f1.8 for someone else's 50 f1.4?

I like the results I get with my 85, but I find it a bit long. I've recently set up a small home studio and would like a shorter prime - I don't really have enough room to use the 85. However, I also own the 60 macro, which I love, and which I could use in the studio. But I would like to try the 50 ...

I'm torn. Keep the 85 and the 60, or swap the 85 for the 50 and possibly think about selling the 60? What would you do?

i would keep what you have. the 60 will be redundant if you get the 50, and selling it will cause you to lose macro ability (not sure if you do any). keep the 85 and 60 and save for a 35?

if you find it too long then sell it. sometimes i find the 50 even too long but i don't feel like ditching it for a sigma..maybe for a 35L...

Having a 50 and a 60 is not very versatile! If you really do find 85 unusable, then, go for a 28/30/35 prime.
