That's a good list. Why the 16-35 as your priority?

its currently not the priority, its the 70-200mm VRII that's the priority Alex hehe

The measurements are the same in both. Example im a 34*32. 34 waist 32 length. If you cant find your size then order online. If they dont fit well then exchange ;) Get crackin!

Oh and on the style note if its too warm then just take off the sweater and bamn instant cool off ;)

You know, I really like my current setup :) -> Jeans will never ever be as soft as wool :)
(And I had some trousers made from cotton that I wore over summer - thin cotton, wool is softer)

That seems to warm... my circulation is a mess I sweat easily...
And well, in the UK the standard size is up to a 34" leg, in Germany a 36" (" is inch) leg is easy to get, I have no idea what size it is in the US, but in Germany there are two types of measurement, one is a number, the other is the length in inches (and circumference around the waist in inches too I think).

-> My standard for university is trousers (summer ones actually, so wool and some poly stuff), shirt (often white) and a tie (obviously underwears, socks and shoes) -> shirts end in the washing machine after being worn once :)
Sometimes cufflinks, but they are an issue when writing.

I somehow can't imagine me in a more "relaxed look" -> on that note though, over summer I've worn a Jack Wolfskin trekking shirt when walking around with my camera, and no woolen trousers either, shoes were Meindl. (Definitely better if you walk for hours :D)

I wear a 32" leg and I'm 5'6".

You don't have to wear jeans. There are tons of pants out there that are more relaxed.

And don't get me wrong here. I know full well what it's like for people to not understand they way you dress. Everyone is always trying to get me to dress more 'girly' and I flat out refuse to, unless I want to for a specific reason. If you don't want to change then don't. But I believe that you can't knock something until you've tried it.

I did ;) as a little kid :) -> at that time my mother had an influence on what I wore... and well... it didn't stick. I am more comfortable with an "official outfit", although this has had a draw on me from early on for some reason.

On that note, I'm 188,5cm tall :D -> I think that translates to 6 feet and 2, something inches..

I typically save and order everything at once, I'd rather not order say a video card and then the build get delayed, and now all of a sudden you have last gens card.

As for build time... Shouldn't take more than a day to actually get the build up and running, but it typically takes me a week or two before everything is situated as I want it.

same here... I wouldn't do what Martin did

seriously, I thought I would be buying these items slowly, but you just can;t when you have a credit card at hand... haha

DetlevCM wrote in post #12115424 (external link)
-> Does it really matter how new your equipment is?
I'd rather have something that's 1 or 2 years old and well built than something new that will break after a few weeks.
Obviously this also requires that the "technology" needs to be powerful enough for my needs.

well yes, in technology 1 or 2 years is very very very long time already... there's a big chance that an Item you bought 2 years ago will not even fit on current boards

Jeans from years ago are completely different from what is available today. I hated jeans when I was younger, for the same reasons.

You'd be surprised! It takes several uses and washes to break in a pair of jeans, but once that happens, they're as comfortable as anything. I enjoy wearing my jeans a lot more than my wool trousers.

As a kid, I hated jeans because I felt they were too tight. But you have to find the right style and fit. Nowadays with all the options, straight leg, lose fit, skinny, bootcut, low rise, etc., there is bound to be a pair that's just right for you. Some brands, such as PaperDenim, do a preliminary stone wash so the dye gets faded from the start and the fabric is very soft. :)

-> There is a problem... why do you need to spend time making a piece of clothing wearable? Buy some trousers, shirts and they are wearable right away, they don't need to be washed x times until they are comfortable.
