Because they eventually form to your body, much like a pair of shoes. That never happens with dress pants, since they are made to retain their original shape, and that's why they do not feel as comfortable, to me at least. Ultimately, it's your preference, and I believe you are entitled to whichever preference you have. But you should at least give something a try if you have never done so, or if you have not in a long time. You might find that you like something better than what you currently enjoy!

As a start for you to be more relaxed, all you need to do is be willing to change from your everyday routine, even if it's just once in a while. Set out to try and do something new and different, and find out if it works for you or not. But at least you will have tried. :)

I find dress pants/trousers very comfortable, absolutely nothing wrong with them with respect to comfort.

On that note though - you are right, one possibly should try "new stuff", but some people don't take well to change... I need someone who drags me into a change... and by myself I stick with my choices, solid as a rock in most cases .

As for jeans and that I have a bloody hell of a time where i live finding stuff that fits right :/ Everythings either for really fat short people, or for really skinny tall people

I'm short and in between...maybe a -little- pudgy..

You can always have the lenght adjusted, so buy something that fits at the waist and inseam, then have it tailored. Many stores provide tailoring for free with your purchase.

Nope. I thought about building one but my 4-way Classified board at home doesn't support the EFI bios and Hackintosh framework :( I've got a nice 17" i7 MBP that fulfills my Mac needs though :D Mac & Leica are the ultimate snobbery!

yeah Makes people who own them thinks they have the best in the world...

if I own both, I would be very very pressured to output awesome shots, so I better just use my crappy D700 and not be pressured to output whatever I want to show

I respect your choice, of course. :)

As for needing a little nudge into trying different things, maybe we need to get you a girlfriend. Girls always try to change their boyfriends, so that might work.

But on a serious note, what about your friends? Could they talk you into trying something they enjoy to find out for yourself if you do too?

yeah yo !! hehe

vipergts831 wrote in post #12119144 (external link)
I should just get one myself

you should, if you have that much disposable income, I can't see why not :D

as for me..that's never gonna happen anytime soon... maybe when I feel like I could already buy a BMW M5 and maintain it, I will then start think about Leica but for now...naahhh hehe perfectly fine with my fullframe, at least i've got fullframe..unlike Martin

DetlevCM wrote in post #12119155 (external link)
I won't anytime soon. I might not even do it if my life depended on it :D

My best friend in is in Germany... and she tried...
(As did some other other people with whom I lost contact, one because we had significantly diverging political opinions, he supports the liberals in Germany I think they are - "coughing fit")
-> Sam here in the UK never really tried - although I think he knows it would be pointless.

I suspect a girlfriend could try -> although it could also end in disaster :D
And I don't think you would succeed in finding one either.

See Steven, your gf is constantly using your stormtrooper that you bought and built for yourself. You should have gone for the 70-200 instead. :p

OMG Omar, you are in the lead by a bunch now! Steven still in third at least, lol.

ohhh its sweet to have this computer... she said the MBP feels so small... she never said its slow though coz I keep saying its slow (its not really but she easily believes me)...then she gets mad at me... so I am sure she will never admit its slower than this stormtrooper hahaha

Yes, first mammal in space -> poor thing burnt to death upon re-entry... and she looked rather cute too.

Although I personally have one very large problem with dogs: I really hate their smell.

OK... it is 11pm here now... and tomorrow I am getting up at 5 for university at 9... Leaving the house at 7, train at 7:35, arrival in Sheffield at 8:10... and yes, there are later trains, 2 "cattle carriers" as I call them operated by Northern in which I nearly choke and then a Cross Country train at 7:54 which is my backup, after that all trains arrive after 9am....

Good night all! Have fun and take care!

First things first, you should think more positive rather than negative. That helps a lot! Ultimately, only you can truly help yourself. Everyone else around you, your family, your friends, your girlfriend (perhaps), and us here, we want to support you, but it comes down to you to make the choices. As long as you move forward with your head high and feel happy about yourself, that's all that really matters. ^_^

It's not the computers, just your horrible connection. :p:lol:
