Black & White: Wandering the Beach

Here are two images for mine.

For this image, i pumped up contrast/adjust curve so that the details for the Trees, the lady n her umbrella and the background retain minimal details. I want to draw viewers' attention to the tree line, washed-up debris leading to the lady and composition.

I shot/pp this with e intention of drawing viewers to the texture of the rocks, waves and water. I didnt clip shadows as much as the image above.

Very nice composition on the first shot, nice rule of thirds. The second shot is very sharp - though I think it would look better in color?

I really like the first one. Wouldn't change a thing.

Agree about the second one. Black and white makes it look kind of flat. Color will give it more depth.
