Only to find out that they'll be coming out with the Yn-565ex in a couple months and it's supposed to compare with the Canon 580exii. The darn thing is being shipped now or I would've cancelled the order.

I've got a YN-465, and this new flash seems awesome... The only problem with ordering from HK, the wait...

I read somewhere that they aren't covered under warranty unless you order from the official eBay store...

But who knows when they'll actually be shipped out or if they'll run into any production problems.

You're better off with the YN468 IMO

At the price of Yongnuo flashes, it wouldn't be too hard on the wallet to own a couple for off camera flash photography.

Get yourself a set of RF-603 triggers/ receivers to compliment the flashes..

And a couple of months probably means more like 5 or six...I'm thinking of ordering the YN467 (external link) as my first flast from amazon with two day shipping..

I'm also tempted by the two new Canons coming-out... But not sure what time frame is on them.. For example, the new 320ex (external link) looks pretty slick.

I ordered 2 460 ii's from the ebay seller she-in. Shipped from HK to the US in about a week. It was packaged so well the few bumps it got never messed with the insides. If you don't mind the few extra days look into them.

Everything comes out with new models, upgrades. If you sit around worrying and waiting for the "next" one to come out, you'll never get anything.

Agreed.

And look at it this way: When you get the jones for a 565EX and buy one, you'll have the 468 to supplement it. Learn your 468 now, so that you won't have to risk a learning curve when you get the 565EX.
