First time shooting motorsport, from my day out to Silverstone for the BTCC media day. They travel a bit faster than the birds I normally shoot

Some good stuff for a first timer especially! Try decreasing the F stop (larger #) a bit, while decreasing shutter speed for the panning shots. It is a bit of trial by error the first time, but you will get the hang of it!

Great work!

I tried some at 1/320 for panning shots, but that was still a bit too fast.
