my nieces please C&C

I have post some other people photos on here before and nobody liked them i am just wondering if i have improved on anything, i have taken alot more into consideration when shooting. these are my pictures of my nieces and they hate sitting still for me, and i didnt have any help getting them to look at me. so please take that into consideration. i know most of these look like they are candid shot please C&C

look at the pics before I read your post. They certainly weren't overly cooperative, were they?!!!

Couple things I notice: 1. Get down to their level and try to shoot at eye level. 2. If you have a pc handy and can download shots of them immediately, seeing shots of them might create some excitement that translates into willingness to pose for the camera. 3. Scope out some places that will make the girls standout. In front of a dirty fireplace, isn't real 'lady-like' if you get my drift!

Look for open window light to provide a main light source. Bring one of those fold-down reflectors on the other side for fill light. Get the girls' mom or dad to help out. And again, get down on your knees so we're not shooting down on the girls! Most of all, planning and scoping out better settings would go a long way in producing quality shots of the girls. Keep shooting at every opportunity and they'll 'warm up' to your camera!
