Is this a good picture to keep? I think I'm getting better just have no one to CC my pictures. :(

I think it's awesome!! The whole face is in focus, that's all I'd personally care about with this one....it would be nice if the ears were also really sharp, but other than that...beautiful!

Very nice. Agree with Tim, the ears in focus would have been nice but it doesn't detract from the image.

Very endearing photo/cat (from a dog lover mind you) and well executed!
My only curiosity is the catch light that keeps drawing my eye to the cats eyes. I detect a shape like a light bulb and because of who I am I spend too much time trying to figure that out.....dangit. Maybe a little more diffuse light source would solve that (read "my") problem.

Thanks, our cat (Cherry) was actually lying down on a bed mattress that was laying on it's side by our kitchen. We were moving so it was laying up against the counter/bar area and there was plastic that I put the bed in so it wouldn't get ruined. Cherry was curious so she went inside the plastic and climbed to the top of the bed side and laid down. I had to make sure the plastic didn't close in. lol So I'm thinking the light is from the kitchen. I was wanting to edit that out but wasn't sure how that would turn out. haha

Great capture! I would play with the catchlights and other reflections in the eyes.
