My first attempt at night my T1i, my fellow fireman really like it....I was thinking about entering photo into the Fresno Fair in October, for fun.
Photo unedited just changed from color to sepia tone.
C&C greatly appreciated:)

Yeah, I'm not diggin' the sepia tone.

Would have been cool if you could have gotten the engine lit up as it was pulling out for a call.

I recommend adjusting the WB, the pics are too yellowish. Doesn't have to be perfectly white though

I like the color images best.

Not a huge fan of sepia, reminds me of the silly "old west" pictures done at state fairs. :D

I might also play around with some different crops on the image with the station in it. However I do like the sign that says downtown Fresno as it gives a location for the fire house.

Anywho, cool shot, cool engine...although im biased I work on an engine 3 as well.

your sepia tone is much on the yellow side imo. That's why color looks better, or B&W i think would be a better change. Fire trucks are bright red, changing the color looks alien, a sepia color is for an antique look.

Black and White the winner?

I still like the colour better, a different style of black and white may be better.

The black and white could be it. But that edit is really muddy. I need more tonal separation.
