These guys showed up in force this evening and the afternoon lighting was nearly perfect.

Thanks Steve _ in Mississippi and these were fairly close so not too much cropping needed. Keeping the 400mm f/5.6 steady while hand holding was the task.

Great light and lovely shots... one of my favorite birds to photograph and because of a "berry blight" up here, I haven't seen one this winter.
