Please let me know what you think and what I could improve on, I personally think I was standing too close

Hang around this forum long enough and you'll be able to pick up a lot of tips, from folks way more talented than I, to make them better. For what it's worth, they all appear out of focus and the approach shots are backlit. You really have to plan your location when shooting aircraft so that the sun is behind you rather than behind the aircraft. Photographing planes on hazy and overcast days can be tough as well. Denton

Focal Length: 46.0mm Aperture: f/10.0 Exposure Time: 0.0050 s (1/200) ISO equiv: 100 Exposure Bias: none Metering Mode: Matrix Exposure: program (Auto) They might be sharper with a faster shutter speed. And the reason that some of them are dark is that your meter was reading the sky. FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
