Paid a visit to Sywell Aerodrome today. I'm currently struggling with a 300D with broken AF, so was having some problems, although my 500mm lens is MF so not too bad compared with my Sigma 28-300. These are just a few quick conversions as I am away at the moment, I will do the full PP work when I get home. Enjoy.

1 The Aviation Hotel, Bar and Restaurant. This building has been used a couple of times as the old London Croydon Airport Terminal in the Agatha Christy Poirot TV Series.

5 Finally a small airliner: Extra 300 (two seat version). Yes this is really licensed as an airliner, it is part of the Blades display team. A day with them including a nice lunch and a flight is £1000. All the pilots on this air line are ex Red Arrows.

Hope you all enjoy

Nice T. Moth. Do they ever have airshows there?

They have a biannual airshow, in even years. When the Blades are flying then there is apparently a good turn out of spectators in the viewing area. They do offer trips during the summer in both a Tiger Moth (not the one in the pictures) and also an AT6 Harvard. The Brooklands club which is based at Sywell offer flights ass well and 30 mins in their Tiger Moth is only around £70 (About 140 USD). I think we may well have a go of that. It also helps that my Mother lives about 10 miles from Sywell.

That sounds like fun! Be sure to wear a white scarf for the pictures! :D
