I thought these turned out kind of neat, PP helped (did I over sharpen the birds?):

I like the way the wave is starting to crest here:

Those birds look good to me My guess is that you were on a fishing pier next to the power plant Those Mallards are on rocks off the beach on the E side I'll be there next month to shoot mergansers and Bonaparte Gulls fishing the boat channel on the West side of the pier. Lots of goodies show up there.Buflehead,Goldeneye,Redhead, scaup ringneck ducks, coot plus all the grebes Avon Lake Miller Park is a winner. Great wildflower plots near the parking lot in May

Nope, don't look overdone here. Nice catch of the hawk over the water.

Yep, it's the Memorial park at the end of 83. It's probably my favorite convenient spot for photos, being just down the road. Miller Rd park should be fun once the cold weather breaks and everything starts greening up again :D

You caught me I know that park. We drive by it on 6. We never went in I guess it was the hot ticket in February for the Barrows Goldeneye. Miller is perfect except on those just at windchill days when lake spray turns it to ice. Last Spring they sent a dredge into the boat channel. That messed it up for a week.

The memorial park is really not nearly as nice of a "park" as Miller Rd is, but there is a bit of beach and some nice area around the Folger home. I feel that there might be some nice small boat pics in the summer once everybody starts going out there.
