I thought these turned out kind of neat, PP helped (did I over sharpen the birds?):
I like the way the wave is starting to crest here:

It's probably my favorite convenient spot for photos, being just down the road. Miller Rd park should be fun once the cold weather breaks and everything starts greening up again 7D, XSi, Canon 50 1.8, 18-55 IS, 55-250 IS, 70-200 2.8 L IS II, 430 EX II

We never went in I guess it was the hot ticket in February for the Barrows Goldeneye. Miller is perfect except on those just at windchill days when lake spray turns it to ice. Last Spring they sent a dredge into the boat channel. That messed it up for a week. We'll rape the horses and ride off on the women

Sam The memorial park is really not nearly as nice of a "park" as Miller Rd is, but there is a bit of beach and some nice area around the Folger home. I feel that there might be some nice small boat pics in the summer once everybody starts going out there. 7D, XSi, Canon 50 1.8, 18-55 IS, 55-250 IS, 70-200 2.8 L IS II, 430 EX II
