Dabbled, and Read. Read and Dabbled. These are the first series of shots I put alot of effort into. Please CC, because that's the only way I will get better. They are all of my Fiance, she was a great sport.

Most of them look out of focus, especially number 3. The last one only looks bad because it definitely looks like you used the on board flash. If you're going to use flash, it's suggestedddd to get an external flash and bounce it, or find a way to soften the light you're using.

#1 and #3 look like good pictures but the out of focusness makes them hard to love

^ agreed with above comment. Too soft, and lighting in last one is too harsch, but keep on trying.

Thanks for the replies! I am using the 430exii, but I think I set it so both flashes go off maybe? I put a white reflector on here left and the 430 on her right... It does look harsh now that I took a nap and came back to it. I see most of what your saying focus wise , I'm using my 100mm macro , is it the lens that isn't focusing right at that distance or just me not using it right? Like on number 1 is the whole body out of focus or a particular part?

Again thank you for your help just wanna make sure I understAnd what's going on.
