First time with lighting at night

First time shooting at night, on the first couple I had a 2 point lighting kit set up. It was tough because there were other lights up there too. It was very windy and cold to it was hard to set up the lights they kept falling over. and I know the second shot the lens flare is bad... let me know about the others thanks!

When outdoors we use a very large tent for the car.
Then the tent is removed and background foreground is shot.
Guess what we do from here ...

This is to get the right exposure on the car and the background, then in post production combine the two?

Makes sense I just dont have that type of equipment lol

No - the reason for composite shots are to control reflections mostly
and secondary to control contrast between the 2.
Note your reflections and hard light ...
Most of the time we shoot car in studio w tent and background seperate.
The tent does not blow away when in studio nor do birds poop on it.
