Had some sun today for the first time in quite a while, at least not when I was able to do some shooting, so I tried to take advantage of it. For some reason, the birds were really pretty scarce. Must be finding better things to do this time of the year.

All taken with a 50D and my 300 f/4

C&C always welcome.

Super shots, Mike. What about 38 degrees today? Depressing watching the weather news around these parts. Enjoyed your shots as always.

A lovely set of shots Mike... I especially am partial to the chickadee shots :) I am getting quite a number of Downy Woodpeckers on my suet pole and the chickadees are whistling their spring "pee wee" song.

Wonderful set of images, Mike. All are great. I wish I would see a woodpecker some time. Yesterday I heard one in the park, but I just can't find it!

Thank you Flo. you're most kind.

Thanks Dave, and yes, one of the worst things about living up this far north is that it seems spring never comes. Allways shows up way after you were ready for it.

Thanks Philz, I love my 300.

Drama, thanks and no it wasn't the 400 but it was the 300 prime, which is by far my best lens.

Thanks munroe, I'm kind of partial to the finch also.

Bret, thank you!

Dave, thanks and yes they are really singing up a storm along with the titmice!

Thanks Levina, I'll send you a couple.

Thanks dgraham.

Mike
