I want a P&S camera that fits in my pocket and shoots good quality 1080p video. Should I get the 300 HS, or go with a different camera?

Should I get the 300 HS, or go with a different camera? I'm waiting for the Sony HX7V or HX9V for the same reasons - pocketable camera with great video functionality. It is due maybe in May, but with the situation inJapan I think all dates are up in the air.

Another good option is Sony HX9V it also has the 3D sweep panorama feature which really looks exciting.
