Has anyone convert a color photo to sephia mode for wedding shoot ?

does sephia look more artistic than b&w format ?

I am curious.

I'm not a wedding photog, but IMO it's best to just throw some into the mix. Too much of any effect gets overwhelming and become cliche.

You will of course find different styles used by different photographers, and plenty of opinions for and against any given style:)!

All depends on the photo and the overall mood been created in the captured image.

Btw, to my knowledge, it's spelled "Sepia" , not "Sephia" .

There isn't a general rules...but
Using sepia... I hate it (specially in weeding photos)
IMHO: Photo retouch is as you are cooking, "meat with sauce" isn't "sauce with meat"
Use b/w properly. DON'T "colorize" it except if you want to show it as an "old picture".


A Canon gear, some lenses, mono(tri)pod, flash and need to learn...
