Near Pebble Beach, California. I captured this from a rather precarious position.. But to me that's half of the fun to be had. I would appreciate any thoughts, comments and/or criticisms.

I think that this picture is stunning!For some reason on my monitor it looks a little soft...but still stunning!What body and lens were you using?

Thanks! I used my Canon xti with the 18-55 kit lens. This was my first attempt at HDR.

It is a bit soft, I think the HDR processing softened it a bit and also I was taking one second exposures to get that water smoke effect and I had no tripod or anything. Just propped myself up against a rock and held my breath sniper style.

No tripod? One second exposure? Non IS lens? Impressive! I like the color saturation of the first one better. Again...very nicely done!
