I think there's someone on this thread who uses older manual lenses with the T3i/600D. If so would you mind giving me some tips about using manual lenses on the camera, as I see one on Trademe (local web auction site) and I'm thinking about bidding if price stays low.

Which reminds me, here's a shot from a Big Cat rescue/reserve I visited back in May - friends work there, and this was open-house day. Taken with a 100-400L.

Went out to the lake tonight to shoot some macro. It was windy and I couldn't get the autofocus to kick, so I shot manual macro for the first time, and I actually think it's easier & faster! (Apologies for so many pics)

Thanks Bluesy! It was on the side of my truck when we were leaving...it wouldn't fly away until I got about 3 blocks from home, lol.
