It's winter here - last week crisp clear weather with frosts - this week dreary dull overcast and rain, intermittently heavy and drizzly. These taken in light drizzle.

It was late afternoon and becoming dark - so quite long exposures. I've included this of my dog, as wasn't sure how it would work out - he doesn't like the camera, but of course he moved.

All taken at Pakowhai Park where I walk the dog. Thanks for your tolerance :-)

Took the nifty fifty out because I knew the light would be poor and very disappointed lately in poor light shots with both kit lens. Trying to decide what will be my best new lens - think it's going to be for landscape.

Fantastic to see all these wonderful images from the same camera that I have :-)

Expo - love that bird!!

Jamstar - I'm jealous of your moon shot. Have the same lens I think, but my moons nowhere near this good.

Taubin - always love to see photos of NZ, and like the quirky dog? and love the steam engine.

I'm the same way, I love seeing what ideas people have, and seeing through their eyes at places I've never been to, or things I've never seen!

Thanks rosey! That moon shot is cropped so much....thank goodness for the 18mp that the camera has. Manual focus was the key to getting it as clear as it was.

Thanks Rosey I quite like that little dog. It's sitting at my in-laws gate guarding their place, it's quite cute
