Northern Shoveler - This is a female. The males look quite different but I didn't see him.  HOSTED PHOTO please log in to view hosted photos in full size. Bufflehead male - Very difficult to photograph since they stay far away from shore and it is hard to capture the green and the red around the head. They often appear to be just black and white. Again the females look quite different but are pretty as well.  HOSTED PHOTO please log in to view hosted photos in full size.
