Northern Shoveler - This is a female. The males look quite different but I didn't see him. Bufflehead male - Very difficult to photograph since they stay far away from shore and it is hard to capture the green and the red around the head. They often appear to be just black and white. Again the females look quite different but are pretty as well. Including the hawk in an above post, I had a very productive day and can't wait to get back out ![]() Randy
