Well done! Can I ask what were the specifics of taking those shots? Thanks! It was pretty sunny today, so I cranked the ISO to 400 and adjusted the flash compensation to -2 to provide a little bit of fill-flash, so the pics are mainly natural lighting. I actually had more throw-aways today than keepers because it was constantly windy, I got lucky on a few shots.

My aperature is usually around f/11 but seems like my DOF is always too shallow. Going smaller makes it too dark and using fill flash makes it look like I used a flash. I know macro is it's own beast to master but I have yet to get something I feel is worthy....close...but just not quite there, know what I mean? Ace and Deuce wrote in post #15144793 Thanks! Here is the basic exif: Camera Canon EOS REBEL T3i Exposure 0.005 sec (1/200) Aperture f/11.0 Focal Length 200 mm ISO Speed 400 I usually shoot f/18~f/20, but I was trying for the natural light look more than flash. ~Ace Website
