My wife bought me a T3i about a year ago to get back to photography (many years away). I added the inexpensive Canon 75-300 to the kit, and I "like" the lens, don't "love" it. In trying to re-create my film set up, it will take time to clearly identify what to get next. But the birds are fun- the Tundras are wintering in my area, so we went to see if we could find them. Beautiful song they sing.... I'm sure everyone is sick of me saying this, but I hated that lens too until a put a cheap $20 ND filter on it, now I love it. Nice pics!

Nice pics! Hey, I was listening! Tried that today, but as you can see, it was overcast and some snow showers; didn't work well for the birds. Also tried a skylight and a cpl. But what I really want is a zoom that stays the same length throughout, front doesn't rotate when focusing, and is faster (f2.8).

This shot is pretty much SOOC. I think I did some adjustment to get the horizon level, but other than that I didn't have to touch anything else in LR. ![]() Texas Sunset2 Beautiful! *Lisa*
