I couldn't imagine ever needing to shoot 1/4000. You can pretty much freeze a hummingbird's wings at 1/1000 or so, and they flap @ 55/second. If you mean the pic is still too bright shooting at 1/4000, you can always use filters, such as a Big Stopper.

I tried taking some pics during day with f/1.4. Other problem is with HTP which pushes ISO to 200. Even stopping down to 2.8 is not enough with 1/4000 shutter speed in bright day light.

Get a 10 stop ND filter. That will slow your shutter down.

I think Posh Penny turned pro and is probably to busy.. She did awesome portrait work.

I wondered if she had always been pro by her work

What's the best value for money with these? My next purchase I think ....

Everyone says that you get what you pay for, when it's up to filters... Really, just see how much you are willing to spend and look those up for image samples.

Now, I have never done a pano before, but are the verticallish curvy lines that start on the bottom thirds kind of a result of the sea not being static? I used PS cs5 to do this one.

I just bought the Hoya ND400 from Amazon. There are others, both more and less expensive, like B+W. I haven't had the chance to try it yet, due to bad weather, but hopefully will soon.

How many stops is the ND400? Is it 10?

Ok...couple more questions from your friendly forum pita :D

*Are any of the off brand speedlight that are at a significantly lower cost an ok option? I am not sure how much I will use it and don't really want to fork out $250-300 for that right now.

*What are the lenses that I see that are on the cheap side that all have varying sizes for macro wide angle? and telephoto hd lenses? They all seem so cheap. Not sure what I was missing.
