Ok....thanks for the info!!!! What about the 270ex speedlight? Is that a manual one too since its smaller or what? It says it will fit on the powershots too so just wondering outloud here :D

I don't know anything about the 270EX, but here's a review on it. It may work for you, but the 565EX is less than $20 more.

I used to and it gets quite reviews in some places, but then a friend got Lightroom and loved it, so I got that and also like it. It can do a lot more than what I ever do though :-) Then I use Photoshop Elements 11 for any final tweaks. GIMP will do it all but a reasonably steep learning curve at first - however it is totally free, as it's open source.

I use B&W filters, I have a 3 and 6 stop, combined with a CPL (1.5) stops, I can have anywhere between 3 stops and a bit over 10 stops. downside is that when using wide angle you might have some vignetting, but it gives me the freedom to combine the different values. An added advantage of this setup is that the 6 stop gives a 60 multiplier. for instance: an exposure needs 1/60 shutter without 6 ND will give you a 1 sec. with the 6 stop ND. 1 sec without, 1 minute with.. and so on.

Thanks. Yeah it started warming up down here and now it is suppose to freeze tonight, but this should be about the last of the cold for us. We have only had about two nights this year where the temps. were below freezing.

That totally made my head spin lol Did you get the package that had all of the filters and wide angle stuff when you got your camera or all separately?
