1) Is there a T3i owner who uses Corel Paintshop Pro X4 or X5 and Magic Lantern with experience in video?

2) Does anyone know if T3i + Corel VideoStudio Pro 5 could be used to create slow motion Video?

Regards,
Shanta

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

I use Magic Lantern, but I haven't used PaintShop Pro in many years, so I can't answer your question on this. I have mixed feelings about ML. It's fun to use, especially for time lapse, but it freezes my camera often. I have to remove the battery and restart the camera at least once or twice while filming. I finally switched SD cards when shooting pics, so I don't have to use ML unless taking video.

It's my understanding that shooting slomo is difficult with a DSLR, tho I haven't tried it myself. There is a video section here on POTN that you may post to and get some other opinions. Keep us updated.

Enjoyed those milk drops must give it a try sometime - maybe a winter thing when can't get outside.

Nice white swans too.

I'm trying to make the most of it Lisa as daylight saving ends this month I think - then we head into Autume and winter. Well it feels autumnal already to be honest - cooler nights.

Lisa,
Pretty easy really. I took one of my wifes glass baking dishes, filled it half way with water then added blue food coloring. I then took a cup of milk and added red food color to the milk. A desk lamp behind the glass bowl about 8 inches away.
My 100mm Macro lens and the settings on Manual, 1/1000 , f5 , iso 100 and started snapping away on a tripod and trigger
