Nice pics everyone.
Ace glad you had some clear weather so you could get out and try your new lens.

Thanks...it was clear all day, then in the evening/overnight we got 11" of snow, lol.

Rosey...we were suppose to get a good 10 inches of snow today and everyone was in an uproar and schools closed and me scrambling for a sitter for work to reschedule all of my appts and guess what... IT RAINED!!!!!!!!! I was looking forward to some snow shots. I guess not this year!

Sorry you didn't get the opportunity of some snow shots! Unless I go up to the mountains it's not likely for me with our kind of weather - perhaps I should say usually :-)

A few more from yesterday's bike ride. This heron kept just at the end of the range of the lens:

Awesome images!! Really love that last one, and the others are pretty cool too. I think I can see a dust bunny in the first - top right more or less, that you might want to get rid of.

Oooh - just seen on the news the terrible snow storms some of you in the US are experiencing. Hope you're all okay, and ready to shoot whatever comes your way :-)

Wow....Lots of great photos!

Ace has decided that they are the only ones that are getting the snow. We got a whole lot of nasty rain....SMH!

Very nice, Mike.

Thanks guys, I used a very weak LED torch, one like this: http://www.jhmcloughlin.com/Promotions.html (external link)

Had many hot spots so ended up using the edge of the light to go around the tree :)
