Have all of you guys had rubber grip failures or separation on your t3i?

In fact, I'm surprised to hear of the problems folks have with the T3i. Mine is doing very well, and is as reliable as all the other (many) film versions I've had or used.

I'm surprised as well. To be honest, I treat mine like sh!t...I shoot in the rain, switch lenses while dust is blowing at baseball games, etc... My LCD screen hasn't been closed for a year now, I've shot with dirt & grime on my hands, had it in the pool a few times, AND took over 40,000 pictures in 17 months...still works as good as the day I got it.

I think he looked like he smoked some pot, and is now looking at that leaf in front of him as one of the snacks that will ease his munchies..
As Dolan said, great shot.

HA I agree some kids had woke him with some loud noise thats why he was so pissed

Just a quick shot and edit I did today. Mostly Lightroom. Shows up darker on one monitor and what I was going for on my editing monitor lol.

This first shot is just fascinating!
Adding the human element in the 'walker' really gives the appropriate perspective!

Well done!

Thanks bluesy - appreciate your comments :-)

While I've been a bit kinder than that, mine is also very reliable, and about 19 months old. Only a fraction of the shots though - around 7000 I think, and I thought I was prolific :-)

Well last night we had the roughest toughest thunder and lightning storms I have ever seen in my life. HIGH winds, downpours like I have'nt seen in a long time and Lightning every few seconds. I tested the ruggedness of my T3i and took it outside in the storm. After a few minutes it started going into convulsions but kept on trucking snapping away. I'll have to post some of the pictures tomorrow that I got. Anyhow after constantly wiping off the lens for the next shot and patting the camera dry after I came back inside, I tried using it today and it functions at 100%.
I loved this storm btw. 21 hours no power, no sleep and basement flooded I still had the time of my life out there

Shooting photos never killed anyone,
Mike
