I figure I'd bore you with the max number of shots in one post... Some of my favs at least... I generally don't do PP or even cropping though I have PS CS5 and LR4... Not saying these couldn't use anything... Just saying that these are "au natural..(As "natural" as onboard convert to JPGs can be...)." I have nothing but the 18-55 kit lens and a 16 gig class 10 card. (don't even have a SDHC reader) I know your first question will be what do I like to shoot but I'm still figuring that out. I do miss the zoom I had on my point and shoot (A650 is) so I was thinking about the Canon EF 28-105mm, then if I have enough after that, a nifty 50. But that might be pretty hard... I might be able to sell some other stuff off though so it might not be too far behind regardless. Canon Rebel T3i

AceandDeuce Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 27, 2013 07:39 | #8622 Thanks, Bas! That's my goal, but I can't seem to get there yet. My recent ones have a lot better control than they used to, but still a ways to go. My main problem/concern is getting the subject lit-up enough...do you just do that in post? The pics above were pretty dark before I edited them, and there was such an orange glow from the flower petals.

BasAndrews Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 27, 2013 13:39 | #8623 Ace, I must say I think much more of your shots than I do my own, the focus and composition beat me into a pulp!. Once you tame the light you will get even more awesome shots, I am sure.

Jul 27, 2013 15:43 | #8625 I'm loving all the macro shots and am actively looking for a 100mm macro 2.8 to add to my gear. Until then, here's something with the kit lens. rhinobeetle-3
