I already have prime fever and I only have 2 in the bag. LOL
There is just no accounting for all the things a prime does better than even a great zoom. But I guess I am a lucky guy because I really don't have lens envy anymore. I do have camera envy when I see guys like Ace and his new 6D. That will be my next body. I just have to get the finances in order to not use family money to get it. I have a few self-defense classes I am teaching in the next month or so and hope to have the money after that to buy the new body. Maybe I can convince the wife to buy it for my birthday next month if I put my side money into the pot as well.

Name is Ron.

I'm with you Ron.. Eventhough I find that my camera envy is directly related to my lack of creativity.. When, like now, I have no creativity I feel the need for a better camera.. When I have the creative juices flowing I feel that my camera is not the limiting factor..
Ahwell, my bigger question is D610/5Dii/6D

Trust me Dutch, I have already gotten my body figured out. That is part of the problem. I am not rich by any stretch of the imagination, but I could easily buy the body. I just try to avoid using joint money for my hobby expenditures. With my side job I don't get paid except when I do seminars or workshops, so when I get to do them, I can find all kinds of things to spend money on. LOL
We have not done a self defense workshop in awhile, so I think I could have the money to buy a refurb 6D in two workshops. So hopefully I have good participation in the next few dates and I get to get over my body envy issues!

A couple from my hike today:

Image quality on the second is kinda 'meh' as he took off right before I pressed the shutter so the focus isn't where it should be. But I still like it.

What program do you use? How long of a time lapse?

I just used Starstax, you can do the same with layer blending in photoshop (Lighten). This was a small section of a 400 frame timlelapse.

Now for some startrails :)

That's awesome! I was curious because of the weird textures in the upper left hand corner, figured something was done. It looks magnificent, like a Monet painting.
