I'm going to go FF for sure...probably Nikon. I don't know anything about the Pentax. Is it FF?

Is the Pentax IQ really good? What did you like about it?

I'm thinking more like the D750. It seems like a perfect combination of things. I just wish it would do 1/8000 shutter speed.

I thought the IQ was really nice, better than the T3i comparable to what I see in the 6D forums.. I just liked how it felt in my hands. it also has build in image stabilization which will be awesome with for instance the sigma 18-35..
BUT I am afraid I will regret not picking a FF..

Yep. I'm in the same boat. I'm pretty much in the situation where I can only have one body, so I'm going to have to go FF.

Paul, the D750 is catching my attention also. I've pretty much decided an upgrade is logical and if it requires changing brands, now is the time to switch. Wrestling with 7DII, 6D, or the Nikon. There is only one full line camera store in town that has all three, allowing a good "touch and feel" evaluation, but they have always quoted me prices so far above on-line (usually 40-50%, once almost twice as much) that I can't buy from them. And they don't need to match prices; just come closer.....

But Dutch and Paul; you just keep posting more and more great work. Always good to see your images!

Hi David. You should go do the touch and feel test at the deal then NOT feel bad about buying on line. I know brick and mortars are under pressure from the net, but if they don't try to compete then it will be rough for them.

As far as bodies go...I really like the idea of the 7D2. I'm sure it will be THE sports/birding camera. I'd actually love to have one. But I do so much landscape that I think I owe it to myself to go FF. When it comes to FF I think Nikon is the way to go. Sadly, Canon just stays behind...far behind where it counts with landscape.
