Amanda - Fashion Style Shoot w/ Beauty Dish

This is my first time with off camera flash. Went with a 16" silver beauty dish from Cheeta. We were going for a high contrast, shadowy, attitudish fashion style.

lol I like them, very moody and great composition on all them. Your models "attitude" really helps the style of the pics as well

lol, thanks bud

this was very much a practice session for me. first time with OCF, and all by eye, no light meter (i need one bad).

the "model" you see is actually my wife. and its funny, while we were going for that attitudey/fashion look, i think after 4 hours of straight of shooting, some of that attitude was real and directed at me, lol.

but she was a trooper, trying to help me practice :)

Although they are good, I feel there should be some other angles, as almost all of them are "up the nose" shots.

thanks... yeah, we were going for a high 'attitude' look, and found the head up/confident look worked well - but i see what you mean... kinda got stuck in that 'rut'
