512MB Viking: $69.99

My first post on this forum; have owned a G2 for about 15 months, best purchase I've ever made. I've looked at this site several times recently in making my decision to buy a bigger flash card (had the standard 32 and an additional 128).

I ended up finding the Viking 512mb at zones.com for $119 with a $50 rebate, making it $69.99 plus shipping, thought I would share that if anybody is interested.

Incredible how cheap memory is becoming (I wish I had a little more!)

That's an excellent price, just bought a 256MB card for $37 after rebate, you are right they are getting really cheap. I was considering one of the notebook-harddrive-driven storage solutions, but I guess a few big CF cards will do just fine even on a longer vacation.

Painfully I remember the $300 that I spent for the 256MB RAM in my PC. A year later that same memory was 10x less. Oh well...
