nice work... my only critique is on the B190D. with the crop like you have it, the horizontal stabilizer should be uncropped. just a liiiiiiittle to the left and it would have been perfect. :)

Thanks for the feedback - it's actually uncropped, that was the shot that appeared as I saw it. I wasn't going to waste time zooming out to get the whole a/c as I would have missed this nice angle..lol

Thanks Jan - I think it was used simply because the 747 was used for another route that day. I have shots of the -47 from last week, and am pretty sure that it's still the standard for the flight into YYZ.

^ they'll change out aircraft based on forecasted load factors as well. you'll notice that KLM will switch to the 777 in the off-peak season when they can't fill the 747. if they're using the A330 it's probably because of low passenger numbers so they're trying to stay in the black. ;)

The A332 is a regular now and the evening flight is a 772. You will be seeing the 744 sometimes though.

Airbus A330-200, Boeing 777-200 and Boeing 747-400.

IATA has standard shortened versions of aircraft type identifiers for flight plans etc and they're a lot easier than spelling it all out.

We plane freak's always use short forms. Just like airport codes, Ottawa Airport is CYOW just like on my location.
