Now that I'm home I've worked on the PP on some of the images from Sywell on Tuesday.

Finally as Photosguy was asking about shows at Sywell, they have a Friends association who publish a very good magazine and there is also a website for the Areodrome (external link).

Printed up the Moth and it really could have been taken in 1935 or so with a Kodak Box camera. I actually like the printed image in a retro style sort of way. I guess that my Cheap Centon (Think it is probably Korean or Chinese) 500mm Mirror Lens is really really bad. On the full size image the starboard struts are actually quite sharp, everything else looks like the plane is vibrating away like mad. I was on a tripod, but had to set it to it's fullest height so lots of potential for vibration with that, even with Mirror lock (which I have enabled on my 300D).
