Hi all,

Spring is in full swing here in St. Louis. Missy is incubating 5 blue eggs in her first nest of the season, and we'll be updating the news of our Bluebird family here shortly.

But meanwhile, here are a few of our other regulars around the yard....

American Robin:

Mockingbird:

Red-bellied Woodpecker:

House Finch:

Dark-eyed Junco (...they don't call'em snowbirds for nuthin') :

Northern Cardinal:

Yellow-rumped Warbler (all these guys are moulting now, but they will be gone soon...) :

And a Tufted Titmouse:

These are all just common yardbirds... but we love them.

And we hope you enjoy them too,

Kenn

If I didn't know any better I'd say my birds had come over for a visit. Nice series!

A lovely set of images, Kenn. And such a nice variety. Enjoyed the whole series. Nice to know that Missy is doing all right.

Nice series Kenn, I like the Robin image. I wish we had the variety of yardbirds you have. All we usually have are our Mocker and Cardinal pairs and HOSP's.

Thanks everybody,

We are lucky to have a nice variety of yardbirds here, and we do love to share 'em. :)

We appreciate all your encouragement.

Excellent & beautiful variety Kenn, love the Myrtle image... I also am excited to see flowering tree buds opening up, as it is snowing here at the moment.
My first junco flew in this April 1st morning.... so there is hope :)
