Hey guys on my 60D (2 months old and 23XX shots) first the front rubber of the grip was peelinga bit, ok. Not a big deal but now the back is also peeling.. So do you fix it yourself with which glue ?? Or will be better send it to Canon to fix this...

I know that this "problem" is on several canon cameras http://www.google.com …eeling&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq= (external link)

If somebody in the past send it to canon, does this problem return again ?

After that search on google, this make me wonder where is the quality control...

Cheers.

if it's all coming off, then I'd get it sorted under warranty but basicly they're stuck on with doublesided tape.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Well it's not all coming off, but it seems that the front rubber is a bit stretched just under the shutter, and the rear where the thumb rest is starting to.... on the front it a bit worse, I'm ok at DIY but just dont know which glue would be the best to use with the camera/rubber that doesn't damage the rubber.

Also i'm a bit worry to send it to canon on this week and not having it ready to my trip to vegas in a couple of weeks.

I gave mine back to Canon for repair.
It's a known issue with the 60D.

I like making photos and sometimes I think I'm getting better... then I realise it doesn't matter. I like making photos!
