wb setting in studio

whats the best way to set the white balance in my home studio? the skin comes out reddish and its a pain to edit that in every shot...i have a t1i and im using 2 strobes in my studio, speedlites....i set it to flash Wb and its reddish, i set it to daylight and its too blue....how do i go about setting a set custom WB for myself ?

Start from there and adjust as needed!
Shoot in RAW so you can adjust easily if need be.

Rather than typing out the instructions here, check your manual, it will tell you how to set custom white balance.

Fill the frame with an 18% gray card held by your subject, take image. Set custom white balance in your camera, it will ask which image to use, select the image of the gray card. Make sure your lights and exposure are correctly set first. Repeat process when you make changes to lighting.

i always use flash wb, can u post an example? maybe ur shutter speed was too slow

While flash white balance seems to do a reasonable job on the color temperature, I don't think it sets the red/green "tint" as accurately as custom white balance.
