I pretty much lurk on this site every day. The skill and quality of most of the images posted are just incredible. For a hobbyist like myself posting here can be intimidating at best . But I did get a new L lens and took a few shots I’d like to share.

I don't know where you are from but it looks like you get the same kind of lighting I often get. It can be difficult to get those amazing shots you see on this site without the best light (believe me I have tried.) This looks like a great start and much closer than my first images ever were. Enjoy that new lens. I just got my first L as well and am bouncing with anticipation for the next sunny day.

These are certainly worthy, I do remember being timid to post my shots, but it's all good. Practice and patience, and persistence, is all that is needed.

Don't get offended if you post some and they get few comments, or no comments. It is very time consuming to go through every single post and comment on every pic. So I, and I'm sure others either pic the first 8 or so down the line, or they pick and choose.
